Lean Six Sigma

  • I am a certified black belt six sigma specialist¬†and apply the principals with a hands on approach, we are not text book practitioners.
  • This is about fully understanding the customer requirements and using data to drive problem solving.
  • The approach is Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve. Control. It is defined and easy to follow. Some of the tools used in six sigma are
  1. Voice of the customer
  2. Priority matrix
  3. Resistance to change analysis (force field analysis)
  4. Measurement systems analysis
  5. Failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA)
  6. Design of experiments
  7. Pareto analysis
  8. Analysis of variation (ANOVA)
  9. All the lean tools previously mentioned in lean manufacturing
  • Because you are measuring the problem when the improvement is delivered it is easy to see whether it worked or not.
  • Over all business improvements from customer requirements to the customer paying for the finished article.
  • A good approach if common sense is applied.
